Nike last week lowered its annual sales growth forecast and unveiled plans to cut costs by $2 billion over the next three years. "Goods companies don't have the pricing power they did in the pandemic, and some in the hotel and travel [industries] — they don't have the pricing power they did in the immediate post-Covid," he added. Sales growth for companies in the S&P 500 is on track to average 2.7% this year, according to mid-December analyst estimates posted by FactSet. Some 73% of over 500 Jewish college students surveyed said they were exposed to antisemitism since the 2023-2024 school year started, the ADL, which fights antisemitism and other forms of discrimination, said. The survey also showed that the percentage of Jewish students who said they feel comfortable with others on campus knowing they are Jewish dropped to 38.6% since Oct. 7 from 63.7% before that date. For the data released on Wednesday, the ADL and Jewish outreach organization Hillel International surveyed more than 3,000 American college students, of which 527 were Jewish, from 689 campuses nationwide. The survey was conducted in two waves, one from July 26 to Aug. 30, and then from Nov. 6 to Nov. 10.

The company had earlier said that Tesla had the capacity to make more than 125,000 Cybertrucks annually, with Musk adding there was potential to lift it to 250,000 in 2025. On the "Joe Rogan Experience" podcast released Tuesday, Musk reiterated how hard it was to produce the Cybertruck. "We're aiming to make about 200,000 a year at point production ... maybe a little more, but I just can't emphasize enough that manufacturing is much much harder than the initial design," Musk said about the futuristic-looking Cybertruck.

The deal represents a bet on energy transition, as power utilities, grid operators and renewable energy developers turn to simulation software to fine-tune use of production capacity and maximize efficiencies.
